Good afternoon,
My name is Amanda Pendleton and I am an anthropology student at LA Valley College.
This semester, my anthropology instructor is requiring us to research religious organizations in our community (she is cc’ed on this email). I would love to connect with your organization so that I can learn more about your spiritual practices, culture, and overall worldview.
I am required to:
– Visit your organization 3-5 times throughout the semester
– Interview a variety of leaders and members of your community
– Participate in some religious practices alongside your members
Are you able to open your doors to me? I hope that I will not impose, but I would love to learn more about your community.
